Nations Cabinetry is seeking a well qualified and expericed sales director with knowldeg in the cabinerty and/or woodworking sector.
Major Purpose - Execute sale strategies and goals agreed upon by the company ownership. Manage independent sales representatives in key areas of the country. This high- level role combines strategic hands-on leadership, team development and business strategy for ambitious growth.
Duties - Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute sales business plan Define sales goals. Specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound. Identify the target markets and analyze current competitive landscape. Develop sales strategies, create an action plan, set the sales budget,monitor , measure and adjust based on changing economic conditions. Monitor performance and KPIs of each independent rep, analyze data and adjusting tactics as needed.
2. Leadership Demonstrate the work ethic, reasonable thinking professional approach to task and accountability expected by the ownership group. Uphold safeguard and promote the company's core values and philosophy relating to work ethics, integrity. Constant communication with the CEO.
3. Drive growth and market shareRequires a clear strategy that combines customer needs, plant efficiency and sale rep. competitive positioning. Analyze current market share, identify gaps, use data to identify untappedor underserved areas and needs. Strengthen customer loyalty. Potential implementation of incentive programs, to encourage repeat purchase which maintaining an elevated ASP. Expanding into new market areas and push current products to existing customers through marketing. Track key metrics like market share, revenue growth
4. Key Sales KPI to measureSales Growth - % increase in sales measured quarterly by product lineSales Revenue- total income generated from salesNew customer revenue - from first time customers Quota - % of sales reps meeting or exceeding respective targetsQuality satisfaction - measure quality not meeting standards
5. Operational Systems Participate in formation and administering company policy and their enforcement. Assist in the function of budgeting, accounting, and reporting, Present new ideas and cash flow strategies to aline with budget goals
Position RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field Skill/Knowledge: Strategic planning, business development, plan implementation.Leadership, motivational knowledge, crisis management, time management, industry knowledge, logistics knowledge, product knowledge, problem solving, critical thinking, financial analysis, budgetingknowledge, customer service, sales experience, IT knowledge,Exceptional oral and written communication skills, interpersonalskills, presenting skills, public speaking.
Experience:10-15 years relevant experience overseeing sales reps, sales Proven track record in sales leadershipSales planning and executionNegotiation and relationship management Previous experience in cabinetry, housing sectorData sales and forecasting driven abilities.
Ability to lead, plan and manage changes to market conditionswillingness to become immersed in work,Initiative, self starter with strong time management skills, strong negotiation skills, travel as needed via driving or flying to meet current or prospective customers
Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
