This position operates two modalities or more and performs a variety of procedures in each modality. Will assist doctors in the diagnosis of patient’s health problems or injuries. The employee provides direct and indirect patient care to ensure successful completion of their imaging procedures and is responsible for adhering to patient safety protocols.

Education:
Associate’s degree required.
Accredited hospital-based programs are accepted in lieu of associate's degree.
Experience:
Two (2) years of experience preferred
Certification:
BLS certification required.
Required to have a minimum of two (2) out of the following Modalities:
Licensure:
Licensed in the State of Florida as Certified Radiologic Technologist and certified with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required for X-ray, CT, Mammography, MRI, and Bone Density.
For Ultrasound and Echo Technologist, ARDMS is required

Requires the ability to review, classify, categorize, prioritize, and/or analyze data and/or information. Requires the ability to provide guidance, assistance, and/or interpretation to others on how to apply procedures and standards to specific situations and to interact with individuals at varying levels of the organization. Requires the ability to communicate and interact effectively with all hospital personnel including managers, as well as the ability to communicate and interact with patients of all ages.
Equipment, Machinery, Tools, and Materials Utilization:
Requires the ability to operate, maneuver and/or control the actions of equipment, machinery, tools and/or materials requiring complex and rapid adjustments. Computer, calculator, typing and telephone skills are required. This position requires the use of various, highly technical radiology equipment.
Verbal Aptitude:
Requires the ability to utilize a wide variety of descriptive data and information, such as department records, reports, charts, claims, and forms. The ability to retrieve, communicate and present data and information verbally and in writing are essential.
Mathematical Aptitude:
Requires the ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and calculate decimals and percentages. Strong analytical and interpretative skills are essential.
