Job Overview
Our Outside Sales Representative’s main priority is to ensure customer satisfaction at all levels of their experience with Ohio Power Tool. Position requires courteous conversation and correspondence with customers and follow-up to all inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Duties will include managing various levels of customer service for all our customers.
Outside Sales Representatives will be skilled communicators and presenters who can find the best fit between client and product. This position requires organized and planning strategies, passionate about client relations, and focused on enhancing the buyer experience.
Key Responsibilities
· Devise effective territory sales and marketing strategies for existing customers, leads and new prospects. Able to grasp customer needs and brainstorm ways to fulfill them.
· Deliver products as necessary to jobsites and industrial settings; work as point of contact for sales team to up-sell or cross-sell services and products.
· Participate in industry or promotional events (e.g. trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships

Physical Requirements / Outside Sales Support
· Ability to occasionally travel to customer locations, job sites, supplier facilities, or company branches to support outside sales efforts
· Ability to walk job sites, warehouses, and yard areas where uneven surfaces, active equipment, dust, noise, and changing weather conditions may be present
· Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb stairs as needed during customer visits, product checks, or sales support activities
· Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move product samples, catalogs, small tools, or sales materials, typically up to 25 pounds
· Must be able to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and through electronic systems while supporting customers and outside sales representatives
· Must comply with all safety requirements when visiting job sites, warehouses, or other operational areas, including use of required personal protective equipment where applicable
