In this role, you will work closely with our entire team on client accounts, backed by a highly supportive management team dedicated to instructing and mentoring our staff. What You’ll Be Doing (With Guidance & Training)

· The Essentials: Recording and reconciling bank/credit card transactions, managing accounts payable/receivable, and preparing client invoices.

· The Puzzle Solving: Reconciling general ledger accounts, investigating discrepancies, and supporting "clean-up" projects for new startup clients.

· The Big Picture: Helping prepare basic financial reports (P&Ls, balance sheets, cash flow) and assisting with month-end close activities.

· The Startup Life: Assisting clients with QuickBooks Online setups, onboarding new clients, and handling ad-hoc operational projects.

· The Future of Tech: Collaborating with our team to implement new tech, AI and automation tools across our clients' financial workflows.

Who You Are (Our Perfect Fit)

· The Mindset: You are deeply curious, eager to learn, and have an interest in small businesses, startups, and entrepreneurship.

· The Baseline: You have an Accounting , Finance or Business degree, with a solid grasp of foundational accounting principles.

· The Tools: You have some familiarity or exposure to QuickBooks Online and Excel/Google Sheets.

· The Innovator: You have a natural curiosity for tech and AI tools. You don't need to be an expert, but you should be excited about the challenge of researching new tech, troubleshooting, and figuring out how to apply it to traditional accounting tasks.

· The Character: You have a sharp eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and you thrive in an environment where you can ask questions and absorb knowledge from those around you.

· The Location: This is a hybrid role working both remotely and with our Boston based clients.
