Responsibilities
Iron Cloud Government Services LLC is seeking a reliable, experienced Audio Visual Technician to support chapel services at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California.
This is a part-time, contract opportunity supporting weekly Sunday worship services and occasional special services. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with live sound, microphones, cameras, livestreaming, Facebook Live, church or chapel A/V support, and basic troubleshooting during live events.
This position is contingent upon contract award.

Position Summary
The Audio Visual Technician will provide on-site A/V support for chapel services. The technician will be responsible for setting up, testing, operating, troubleshooting, and shutting down audio, video, and livestreaming equipment before, during, and after services.
This role requires professionalism, punctuality, technical confidence, and the ability to remain calm during live service environments.
Primary Responsibilities
Arrive approximately 45 minutes before each scheduled service to set up and test equipment.
Set up and operate microphones, speakers, monitors, cameras, laptop/streaming equipment, and related A/V systems.
Operate and adjust live audio mix during chapel services.
Support livestreaming, including starting, monitoring, and ending Facebook Live broadcasts or similar streaming platforms.
Troubleshoot audio, video, camera, internet, and streaming issues in real time.
Assist with equipment shutdown, storage, and basic post-service cleanup.
Communicate any equipment issues, service interruptions, or technical concerns to Iron Cloud management.
Maintain a professional appearance and respectful conduct in a chapel / military installation environment.
Support occasional non-Sunday services when requested and scheduled in advance.
Required Qualifications
At least 1 year of hands-on experience with live audio mixing, A/V support, church/chapel services, livestreaming, event production, or similar technical support.
Experience with microphones, speakers, soundboards, cameras, and streaming software.
Experience supporting Facebook Live, OBS, Streamlabs, or similar livestream platforms.
Ability to troubleshoot audio, video, and streaming issues quickly during live events.
Must be dependable, punctual, and available for recurring Sunday services.
Must be able to work on-site at or near Vandenberg Space Force Base.
Must be able to pass any required background, base access, or security screening requirements.
Must have reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting church, chapel, worship, military chapel, school, or live event A/V.
Experience with Mackie DL32S, Behringer X32, or similar digital mixers.
Experience operating cameras for livestream or recorded services.
Familiarity with military installation protocols or federal work environments.
Ability to serve as a long-term, reliable technician for recurring weekly support.
Veterans, military spouses, and candidates with base access experience are encouraged to apply.
Schedule
Primarily Sunday mornings, with arrival before service for setup and testing.
Occasional non-Sunday services may be requested.
Estimated schedule will depend on the final contract requirements and chapel service calendar.
Pay: $24.64 - $29.68 per hour
