POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Accountant position is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely accounting for Hirschi Masonry Nevada and Hirschi Companies.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Bank reconciliations and various treasury functions, including cash flow management between various bank accounts and entities.
• Bank deposits, accurate applications of deposits made, bank issue uploads and approvals.
• Tax compliance payments and management.
• Maintenance of various spreadsheets to support financial transactions and analysis of various expenses.
• Assist in preparation of audit work papers for year-end audits with outside auditors.
• Assist in executing company internal control policies and procedures.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Controller and VP of Finance.

MUST HAVE — REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have at least 2-4 years of direct work experience as an accountant, public or private industry.
• Must have a sound understanding of financial reporting.
• Detail oriented and demonstrates a positive attitude.
• Must possess excellent communication and organization skills.
• Must have a BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other type of related field of study.
• Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• CPA preferred.
• Pass mandatory drug test required.
• Must be able to read and write in English and/or Spanish at a level sufficient to follow safety instructions, complete required documentation accurately, and communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers.

NICE TO HAVE — PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• CPA certification.
• Experience with Vista Viewpoint or other construction accounting software.
• Experience in construction industry accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
