Candidates will be considered only if they possess experience working as a Teller for a bank or credit union. Bi-lingual skills are highly desired.

Responsible for providing excellent member service and maintaining strong professional relationships. Assists members with new loans and products, open accounts, advises of the status of accounts, furnishes information on loans, products, fees and services. Courteously and promptly resolves member questions and problems or properly refers them to appropriate personnel.

• Demonstrate efficiency with financial transactions for checking, savings and borrowing members: receives funds, posts transactions and pays out funds as requested. Verbally confirm intended transactions with members to assure needs are met and minimize redoing.
• Balances cash drawer daily to assure accuracy in transactions and notifies supervisor regarding any outages. Appropriately applying policies.
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries regarding policies, practices and products.
• Create and maintain a clean, neat, pleasant work environment by maintaining a professional look (i.e. dress, posture, attitude, etc.), positive outlook and behavior toward members and co-workers and demonstrating the Lanco FCU core values during all interactions with members and co-workers.
• Assist other departments and branches with transactions as needed, provide support for the department and branch managers in fulfilling member requests.
• With a good understanding of the bank products/services and the members’s current relationship, offers information on products and services that can benefit the member and enhance their credit union relationship. Evaluates needs of potential members and offers appropriate financial products and services.
• Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

In addition to the 349 W. Roseville Road location, candidates must be willing to float to Lanco FCU's other three locations in Willow Street, Brownstown and Lancaster City.
