We are seeking an Experienced Automotive Sales Consultant to join our sales team. In this role, you will engage with customers to understand their vehicle needs, demonstrate vehicle features, and guide them through the sales process. Your goal is to build strong customer relationships and consistently meet sales targets.

Greet customers and assess their vehicle preferences and needs.

Explain and demonstrate vehicle features and operation in the showroom and on test drives.

Recommend optional equipment and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction.

Research vehicle availability and manage inventory options.

Collaborate with Sales Managers to set pricing, including taxes, trade-in values, licensing, discounts, and financing terms.

Prepare and process all sales-related paperwork, including credit applications and sales contracts.

Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring they understand operation, warranty, and documentation.

Maintain a prospect development system to cultivate potential customers.

Stay informed on new products, features, and accessories through regular training and meetings.

Adhere to company policies and procedures while achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Ability to stand, walk, talk, and hear regularly throughout the workday.

Occasional lifting or moving of up to 10 pounds.

Ability to work in various weather conditions and be exposed to exhaust fumes or airborne particles.

Vision capabilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
Job Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required.

Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).

Proven experience in automotive or related sales.

Ability to read and interpret business materials, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.

Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and customer interaction.

Problem-solving skills to handle varied sales situations with minimal standardization.
