Are you energetic, people-focused, and ready to help grow a strong team? We are a leading food manufacturing company seeking a proactive Recruiter / HR Assistant to support our hiring needs both inside and outside the plant.

Typically, our Recruiter/HR Assistant will work Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. However, this can vary slightly based on the companies needs.

The Human Resources Generalist offers support in functional areas of human resources in relation to recruitment, personnel records, and employee relations. The HR Generalist will work under the direction and guidance of the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) and will develop positive, professional working relationships with managers and employees.

What You’ll Do

Recruit for a variety of roles including:

• Outside positions: Route Sales Representatives, Warehouse Associates, Retail Store Clerks
• Inside positions: Production and Shipping Team Members

Create and post job ads across multiple hiring platforms

Review resumes and screen qualified applicants

Schedule and conduct interviews

Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and fill open roles efficiently

Assist with onboarding:

• New hire paperwork
• Initiating background checks and pre-employment screenings
• Conducting new hire orientation sessions
• Provide general HR support and other administrative tasks as assigned

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask and stay highly organized
• Prior recruiting or HR experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
• Comfortable speaking with applicants on the phone and in person
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, HR systems)
