Summary of Position
As part of the PartsXpress® customer service sales team, you will build and maintain strong customer relationships, generate new business, and support our national sales efforts. This role is ideal for a driven communicator with strong organization and follow-through, offering a $18/hr base rate plus uncapped commission potential that rewards performance and provides significant room for financial growth. In customer service, you will manage quotes, process orders, purchase items as needed, maintain accurate CRM data, and assist the outside sales team to ensure customers receive fast, dependable service.
Job Description
As a customer service sales representative at PartsXpress®, you will be a key player in supporting plant operations nationwide, serving as a knowledgeable and dependable contact for our customers. Your daily responsibilities will include handling inbound customer inquiries, generating new business via phone and email, preparing accurate quotes, processing orders, and purchasing required items. You will keep CRM and ERP systems up to date, manage inventory efficiently, and work closely with the outside sales team to ensure seamless service. This role requires strong communication skills, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced B2B environment. With an $18/hr base rate and uncapped commission potential, high performers have the opportunity to grow their earnings significantly. Because responsiveness is critical, this position participates in a shared weekend on-call rotation with the inside sales team.
