Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Underwriting Support Analyst to join our Byzfunder team. In this role, you will support the underwriting team by collecting, processing, and verifying data needed for funding decisions. You’ll work closely with sales reps, underwriters, and external partners to keep deals moving accurately and on time.

Duties

• Review and process contract requests ensuring accuracy and speed of service.
• Send contracts electronically and ensure timely follow-ups within 10 minutes of completion.
• Conduct bank verifications, reviewing for inconsistencies and suspicious activities.
• Cross-check account details.
• Validate business ownership.
• Maintain compliance with internal underwriting guidelines.
• Process and upload required stipulations (stips) for underwriting approvals.
• Maintain accurate records of merchant information and documentation.
• Work closely with underwriters, funding teams, and sales representatives to ensure smooth deal flow.
• Escalate discrepancies or issues to senior underwriting staff for resolution.

Qualifications & Skills

• 1+ years of professional experience
• Strong Attention to Detail with the ability to detect inconsistencies and ensure data accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external partners.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with a heightened sense of urgency.
• Proficiency in financial document review, bank statement analysis, and contract processing.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
