Key responsibilities in your new role

• Customer Collaboration: Support customers in designing USB Type-C and Power Delivery interfaces for their systems
• Firmware Development: Assist in developing and customizing firmware to meet specific customer requirements
• Hardware Integration: Participate in debugging and validating customer hardware against Infineon firmware
• Testing & Debugging: Perform hands-on testing and validation of Power Delivery controllers using lab equipment
• Documentation: Contribute to writing application notes and creating reference designs for USB Type-C solutions
• Customer Training: Assist in training customers and field engineers on Infineon USB Type-C and Power Delivery solutions

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Education: Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with relevant coursework
• Programming Knowledge: Basic experience with firmware development in C and debugging tools
• Lab Skills: Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers
• Interfaces Knowledge: Understanding of serial interfaces like USB, I2C, UART, SPI; USB Type-C knowledge is a plus
• Power Management: Basic knowledge of power circuits like DC-DC converters or LDOs
• Soft Skills: Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset

Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:

San Jose, CA
Minimum of $22.50 per hour
Maximum of $37.50 per hour

Hourly rate will depend on the highest level of education completed.
