Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bindery Machine Operator specializing in cutting operations to join our dynamic print production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating high-precision cutting machinery to ensure the accurate trimming and finishing of printed materials. Your expertise will help deliver top-quality products efficiently, supporting our commitment to excellence in print advertising, packaging, and custom print projects. Position Summary

The Bindery machine cutter operator is responsible for completing assigned projects that can include cutting, stitching, folding, stripping, or other general Bindery tasks. Ensuring all work is completed to deadlines of the highest quality. Will work in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to develop and grow by learning operations of all Bindery machines.

Duties/Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.

• Set up and operate programmable paper cutters.
• Perform regular maintenance including knife changes.
• Inspect and examine printed products for accuracy, conformance to specifications, and external defects.
• Examine job orders to determine details such as quantities to be printed, production times, and stock specifications.
• Pack and label cartons, boxes, or bins of finished products.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience on a guillotine cutter machine preferred.
• Must be able to read English and understand basics of job tickets.
• Able to work overtime as necessary.
• Able to work in a fast paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Able to function independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Good problem resolution skills
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Work in a manufacturing or warehouse setting about 95% of the time.
• Work in an office setting about 5% of the time.
• Sedentary/sitting for about 5% of the time
• Walking and standing about 95% of the time
• Ability to lift-up to 25 lbs. on occasion.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
