Innovative Technologies Corporation (ITC) is seeking an experienced HVAC Facilities Engineering Technician to support the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineering Squadron at Dyess Air Force Base. This position provides technical expertise for HVAC systems, facility modernization projects, building evaluations, equipment diagnostics, construction support, and facilities sustainment activities supporting critical Air Force infrastructure.
Required Clearance Level
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Confidential Security Clearance.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience supporting HVAC systems, facilities engineering, facilities maintenance, building systems, construction support, or related technical disciplines.
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting, diagnostics, evaluations, maintenance, repair, and replacement activities.
- Experience supporting facility engineering, infrastructure, construction, modernization, sustainment, or renovation projects.
- Experience reviewing technical documentation, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Expertise in oral and written English communications skills.
- Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office environment is essential (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting Air Force, DoD, USACE, MILCON, UMMC, FSRM, or other federal facilities programs.
- Experience supporting commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, educational, or government facilities.
- Experience supporting HVAC design reviews, commissioning, construction oversight, or quality assurance activities.
- Knowledge of building codes, HVAC standards, facility operations, and construction practices.
- Experience supporting large-scale facility modernization or infrastructure improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support engineering evaluations of HVAC systems and facility infrastructure.
- Assist with troubleshooting, diagnostics, assessments, and analysis of HVAC equipment and systems.
- Support planning, development, and execution of FSRM projects.
- Review technical documentation, plans, specifications, and project requirements.
- Participate in technical meetings, site visits, inspections, and project reviews.
- Support project tracking, documentation management, and status reporting activities.
- Assist with facility assessments and development of technical recommendations.
- Support engineering reviews and technical analysis of HVAC-related projects.
- Coordinate with engineers, construction managers, contractors, and government stakeholders.
- Support quality assurance and quality control activities related to HVAC systems.
- Assist with compliance reviews and documentation requirements.
- Support development of project reports, briefings, and technical correspondence.

Compensation & Benefits
The Salary for this contingent hire position is $95,000 to $115,000 based on experience and includes medical/dental/vision benefits, 10 days PTO and 7 days sick time; other benefits available.

ITC is open to discussing compensation with highly qualified candidates whose experience exceeds the minimum requirements of the position.
