CAM Partners is seeking a General Manager to lead our Freetown, Massachusetts operation.
This is not a desk job. We're looking for someone who wants to run a business, not just manage a schedule.
We're looking for a leader who understands commercial landscaping, facilities maintenance, construction services, and snow operations—and who can successfully manage people, clients, projects, and profitability.
You should be comfortable walking a site, meeting with clients, developing estimates, managing crews, solving problems, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and profitably.
The right candidate will take ownership of the office's overall performance and help drive continued growth throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
ResponsibilitiesOperations Leadership
- Lead daily operations of the Freetown office
- Manage field employees and supervisors
- Coordinate labor, equipment, and subcontractors
- Ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
- Monitor quality and client satisfaction
Estimating & Sales
- Visit client sites
- Develop scopes of work
- Prepare estimates and proposals
- Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts
- Support business development efforts
Financial Performance
- Manage profitability of projects and accounts
- Monitor labor productivity
- Control equipment and material costs
- Review budgets and financial performance
- Drive growth and operational efficiency
Client Management
- Build strong client relationships
- Handle escalated service issues
- Conduct site walks and meetings
- Ensure contract compliance
Snow Operations
- Lead winter storm planning and execution
- Coordinate crews, equipment, and subcontractors
- Be available during snow events
- Work extended hours during winter weather operations
