Galt Insurance Group is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance clients. As the day-to-day contact for clients, carriers, and producers, you're the engine behind smooth account servicing and strong retention—the person clients trust to get things right and get them done. This role blends client service with the technical work of commercial insurance: processing service requests, managing renewals end to end, and marketing accounts to carriers to secure the best coverage and pricing. It's ideal for someone who knows commercial coverages, stays organized under multiple deadlines, and takes pride in accuracy and responsiveness. What you'll do:

• Serve as the primary service contact for assigned commercial clients, building relationships through proactive, responsive communication
• Process policy changes, endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and payments
• Review policies for accuracy, coordinate issuance and documentation, and assist clients with claims reporting and follow-up
• Manage the commercial renewal process from start to finish—gathering exposure information, preparing submissions, and marketing accounts to carriers
• Review carrier quotes, prepare renewal proposals and coverage summaries, and help producers develop coverage recommendations
• Negotiate with carriers for competitive coverage and pricing, and identify account-rounding and cross-selling opportunities
• Build strong relationships with carrier underwriters and stay current on appetites, underwriting guidelines, and market conditions
• Support producers with new business submissions, remarketing, and retention strategies
• Maintain accurate records in the agency management system and ensure compliance with agency, carrier, and regulatory requirements

This is primarily an office-based role with potential hybrid work arrangements based on agency needs.

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required
• Minimum 3 years of commercial insurance experience preferred
• Working knowledge of commercial coverages, including Commercial Package Policies (CPP), General Liability, Commercial Property, Business Auto, Workers' Compensation, Umbrella/Excess Liability, and Inland Marine
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously
• Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Professional Liability coverage knowledge preferred
• Experience with middle-market or specialty commercial accounts preferred
• Professional designations such as CIC, CISR, CPRIA, CPCU, ARM, or CRM preferred
• Experience marketing accounts and negotiating with carriers preferred
• Knowledge of Florida commercial insurance markets and carriers preferred

Pay: $75,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
