Oliveda, part of the Olive Tree People family and a pioneer in waterless, olive-tree-based skincare and wellness, is looking for a highly creative Video Editor & Motion Designer to transform raw footage into high-performing short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, paid social ads, and digital campaigns.
This role goes beyond editing, we’re looking for someone with strong visual storytelling instincts, advanced retouching and color correction skills, and the ability to bring content to life through animation and motion graphics. The ideal candidate understands how to create authentic, creator-style content that feels native to social platforms while elevating the premium aesthetic of the brand and has experience handling mixed media workflows including S-LOG cinema footage, DSLR/mirrorless assets, and mobile capture content.

Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling short-form videos for paid and organic social media.
- Cut, trim, and sequence clips to create strong hooks, engaging storytelling, and clear calls to action.
- Perform professional color correction and color grading to maintain a polished, elevated, and consistent visual identity.
- Retouch video and photo assets when needed, including skin enhancement, lighting adjustments, product enhancement, and visual refinements while maintaining authenticity.
- Ability to create motion graphics, animated typography, transitions, logo animations, and visual effects that enhance storytelling and performance.
- Add captions, on-screen text, sound design, music, and graphics optimized for social engagement and conversion.
- Adapt edits for multiple platforms, aspect ratios, and placements including Reels, TikTok, Stories, Shorts, paid ads, website headers, landing pages, and email marketing.
- Collaborate with Marketing Department’s creative, and social teams on concepts, scripts, shot lists, and campaign direction.
- Test multiple creative variations including hooks, pacing, CTAs, and visual styles based on performance insights.
- Help maintain and evolve Oliveda’s premium visual aesthetic across digital channels.
- Stay current on editing trends, platform behaviors, creator content styles, animation techniques, and emerging social formats.
Requirements
- Proven experience editing short-form social content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and paid social campaigns.
- Strong portfolio showcasing video editing, motion graphics, animation, and visual storytelling.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Media Encoder.
- Strong skills in color grading, and visual consistency.
- Experience with enhancing video/photo assets while maintaining a natural, premium look.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Understanding of social media performance best practices including hooks, watch time, retention, pacing, and conversion-focused editing.
- Ability to work quickly, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong eye for composition, pacing, typography, transitions, sound design, and modern social-first editing styles.
- Ability to balance elevated brand visuals with authentic, native-feeling social content.
Nice to have
- Experience in beauty, skincare, wellness, supplements, or luxury consumer brands.
- Familiarity with performance marketing and paid social creative optimization (Meta/TikTok ads).
- Experience creating UGC-style ads and creator-led content.
- Knowledge of cinematic lighting, filming techniques, or production workflows.
- Interest in sustainability, holistic wellness, and conscious consumerism.
Job Details
· Job Type: Full-Time, on-site (Culver City, CA)
· Compensation: $70K – $90K per year (commensurate with experience)
