Responsibilities

Support the design and implementation of data systems that enhance data integrity, security, and accessibility. Conduct data mining and analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to clinical trials and acute care settings. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret complex medical terminology and health information management concepts. Contribute to the development of reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate findings clearly to stakeholders. Assist in ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations related to data privacy and security standards.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Health Informatics, Bioinformatics, Data Science, IT, or related fields. Proficiency in SQL and experience working with databases is essential. Familiarity with Epic electronic health record systems or similar health information systems is highly desirable. Strong understanding of managed care processes, clinical trials procedures, and medical terminology. Experience with data collection methods, data analysis skills, and data mining techniques. Knowledge of system design principles related to healthcare IT infrastructure is a plus. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex datasets accurately.
