Join our Team! Employee-owned Windows & Doors By Brownell is hiring an experienced Finish Painter/Stainer to join the team to paint/stain quality windows, doors, trim, millwork, and cabinetry. Full-time year-round work with no weekends, paid holidays, medical/dental/vision benefits, plus 401K.

What you’ll do:

• Accurately apply paints, stains, and finishes using a variety of brushes.
• Apply caulking, surface coatings, and perform minor cosmetic repairs as well as masking and pre-spray prep.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed to ensure a smooth and clean finish.
• Disassemble and reassemble building components, including windows, doors, jambs, etc.

Qualifications:

• Basic to intermediate painting skills. (1-3 years’ experience preferred)
• Able to keep paint shop and tools neat, clean and organized.
• Preferred skills, but willing to train the right candidate:
• Proficient in the use of brushes and spray guns.
• Advanced knowledge of paint/stain types and application techniques.
• Familiar with a variety of wood types, stains, and finishing techniques; knowledgeable about factors that affect product quality outcomes.
• Pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
