Position Overview
ERS is offering two part-time Creative Content Contributor roles to support content creation, social media engagement, training resource development, video editing, and outreach initiatives. This opportunity is ideal for creative, dependable, and detail-oriented individuals with strong writing, editing, organizational, and research skills. Contributors will help strengthen ERS’s digital presence, enhance training materials, promote programs, and create meaningful resources for Ticket Holders, staff, and community outreach. Candidates should be able to work independently, maintain professionalism and accuracy, and have an interest in supporting individuals with disabilities and employment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Social Media Support
- Create and publish approximately 2 posts per week across Facebook, Tik Tok, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Write original, engaging captions and content that align with ERS’s brand, voice, and mission while adhering to established content and posting schedules (not solely AI-generated content)
- Design clean, on-brand visuals using Canva and other tools
- Repurpose existing ERS content into short-form social media assets, educational posts, and promotional materials
- Create content supporting outreach, recruitment, engagement, and brand awareness efforts
- Conduct light market research to identify trends, content opportunities, and relevant topics impacting the disability and employment communities
Video Editing & Multimedia Development
- Edit video content for social media, training programs, podcasts, and outreach campaigns
- Create short-form video clips from existing podcasts, presentations, webinars, and recorded training sessions
- Add captions, graphics, transitions, and branding elements to video content
- Assist with organizing and maintaining video content libraries and digital assets
- Support the development of multimedia resources that can be utilized across multiple platforms
Training & Organizational Support
- Assist trainers with preparing presentations, handouts, worksheets, and learning materials
- Help organize and maintain training resources, content libraries, and shared documentation
- Perform light quality assurance reviews within the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure content remains accurate and current
- Create and distribute post-training surveys and assist with compiling feedback results
- Support special projects related to employee development and organizational learning initiatives
Content You’ll Create
Motivational and job-readiness content, Ticket to Work educational materials, recruitment and job promotion content, product and service highlights, testimonials and success stories, brand awareness campaigns, original video content, seasonal updates, and respectful, community-focused posts that support and engage individuals with disabilities.
Qualifications
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to create clear, engaging, and original content
- Experience using Canva or similar design tools for social media design
- Familiarity with social media platforms including Facebook, Tik Tok, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Basic video editing experience using tools such as Canva, Capcut, and other video editing software
- Organized, reliable, and capable of managing multiple assignments while meeting deadlines independently
- Interest in marketing, communications, training, education, content creation, or instructional design
Tools & SupportERS will provide content direction, project guidance, brand standards, messaging guidelines, and access to existing content, training materials, and resource libraries. Contributors will also have access to an Ipad for content creation and recording, along with ongoing support from both the Marketing and Training teams. This opportunity is designed to provide hands-on experience through meaningful, portfolio-building projects that have measurable organizational impact. Contributors are encouraged to bring creativity, curiosity, strong writing abilities, and a willingness to learn while developing new skills in content creation, marketing, training, and multimedia development.

This internship may serve as a pathway to future employment. Interns who demonstrate strong performance, professionalism, and commitment to learning may be considered for available full-time positions upon successful completion of the internship. Employment is not guaranteed and is contingent upon organizational needs and position availability.

Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to successfully pass a background check
- Must complete all required application materials and employment documentation
Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications and complete the required application process will be considered for the internship program.
Pay: $14.50 per hour
