Reserve Millwork in Bedford Heights, OH has an immediate opening for a Senior Project Manager. The role leads complex, high‑value projects from concept through closeout in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Success in the role requires a highly strategic thinker with deep millwork industry experience—preferably including hands‑on shop‑floor exposure—and the ability to drive alignment across cross‑functional teams without direct supervisory responsibility. Responsibilities
- Lead complex projects from Letter of Intent (LOI) through closeout and warranty follow‑up.
- Develop strategic project plans, schedules, budgets, and documentation using ERP software (INNERGY).
- Establish clear expectations with clients, General Contractors, architects, and internal teams.
- Apply strategic thinking to anticipate risks, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Review and interpret architectural and shop drawings to ensure scope accuracy and manufacturability.
- Coordinate engineering submittals and manage RFIs, ASIs, and project documentation with disciplined accuracy.
- Coordinate and oversee vendors supplying non‑shop‑produced products, ensuring quality, specification compliance, and seamless schedule integration.
- Lead internal project reviews to align Engineering, Production, and Installation teams around priorities and milestones.
- Resolve issues with long‑term project impacts in mind, balancing schedule, cost, and quality.
- Maintain precise financial tracking, schedule updates, and forecasting in ERP throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage change orders with strategic evaluation and thorough documentation.
- Provide field support and problem‑solving during installation and site coordination.
- Oversee punch lists, as‑builts, closeout documentation, and warranty follow‑up.
- Conduct post‑project analysis and recommend strategic process improvements.
- Model the company’s values of integrity, craftsmanship, and client trust.
Skills
- Minimum 7 years of millwork industry experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in a production shop or fabrication environment.
- Background in commercial millwork, architectural casework, or custom cabinetry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex, high‑value projects simultaneously.
- Proven strategic thinker with strong analytical, organizational, and decision‑making skills.
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and communicate architectural and shop drawings.
- Experience working with General Contractors, architects, and owners.
- Proficiency with ERP/project management tools (INNERGY preferred).
- Expertise in RFIs, ASIs, submittals, and change order management.
- Positive, proactive, and detail‑driven work ethic with a high sense of ownership.
- Ability to influence and drive alignment across teams without direct supervisory authority.
- Experience working within an EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) environment is a plus.
