About the Role.
The role will be primarily remote, with some limited travel possible . An individual with hands-on experience supporting seasoned Project Managers (particularly in a consulting setting) is ideal. The best overall fit for this role is an individual with proven experience developing process maps and presentations, as well as supporting multiple team members with capturing client meeting notes.

The project sponsors and executives are seasoned veterans in their fields. This Junior Project Manager must be comfortable acting in a supporting role, while able to clearly communicate at the right level and with the appropriate amount of detail. Applicants with a consulting or project management background and hands-on experience developing dashboards, presentations, and process maps, will be given preference.

This role will be a contract engagement (W-9); at this time, the length is to be determined. Expected Weekly Hours: 20 to 30.

Base Qualifications.

• Bachelor's Degree
• Proven project management experience (i.e. Lead on multiple projects)
• A background in consulting - management, utilities, or human resources sector is highly desirable
• Well-versed with presentation templates, dashboard development, and process mapping (Visio, Lucidchart, etc.)
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute workplans; communicate effectively with sponsors/partners; coordinate the work of experts and consultants; and manage budgets
• Experience working with Visio and Microsoft Project is an asset
• Analytical and strong organizational skills, with excellent verbal and written ability
• Must be tech savvy (experience with SmartSheet is a plus; must know how to analyze/organize data and prepare reports - PowerPoint, Word, etc.)

Essential Functions.

• Must be able to plan and execute projects beyond a task-driven level
• Provides day-to-day oversight of communication with stakeholders, including status reporting
• Coordinates with subcontractors and consultants and other participating organizations
• Strong project management skills including developing timelines, managing deliverables, collaborating and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
• Must be able to juggle multiple project deliverables, and prioritize accordingly
• Comfortable with changing landscape/ability to reprioritize quickly
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
