We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
• Administer medications and injections accurately following HIPAA guidelines and aseptic techniques, including IV infusions, medication administration, and injection procedures.
• Provide specialized care in areas such as critical care, emergency medicine, trauma medicine at Level I or Level II trauma centers, ICU, PICU, or neonatal units.
• Perform wound suturing, catheterization (including urinary and vascular access), tube feeding management, and ventilator care with precision and attention to infection control standards.
• Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory specimen collection/processing, radiology procedures like sonography or mammography support, and participate in triage assessments for urgent cases.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop discharge plans, case management strategies, and coordinate long-term or home & community care for diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health patients, and individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations while ensuring compliance with NCQA standards and ICD coding (ICD-9/10).
• Support patient education initiatives related to health coaching, pain management strategies, family planning, or post-acute care instructions.

Requirements

• Valid RN license in good standing with the appropriate state licensing board.
• Proven experience in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, emergency room settings, outpatient clinics or medical-surgical units.
• Critical care experience preferred; familiarity with ICU protocols and trauma medicine highly valued.
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner; experience with Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology essential for accurate patient assessment and treatment planning.
• Ability to perform sterile procedures such as phlebotomy, venipuncture, suturing, catheter care and sterile processing techniques confidently.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams and with patients of all ages—including working with children or individuals with disabilities.
• Commitment to infection control practices and adherence to HIPAA privacy standards at all times.
• Additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are preferred but not mandatory. Pay: $43.94 - $52.92 per hour

Work Location: Remote
