10Fold is hiring a Research Associate to work 20 hours a week, supporting our B2B tech clients. Your tasks will include using software to analyze industry articles, track how often they’re mentioned in the media (share of voice), and discover new publications, reporters, awards, and speaking opportunities to boost client visibility. You’ll also create reports using Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
This role is perfect for you if you enjoy working from home, are a self-starter, can juggle multiple projects, and never miss a deadline. Strong reading comprehension, especially with technical terms, is key. A college degree isn’t required!
Summary:
The Research Associate is an individual contributor who supports the team providing research, reporting, creating and delivering lists of relevant publications and industry analyst firms, awards and conference speaking engagements to the account team to support client deliverables. This individual may support as many as four companies and will have a strong understanding of the key terms that are widely used within the media to describe their industry.
Duties and Responsibilities include tasks that generally fall into two buckets: tasks for our clients and tasks related to sales / new business. Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.
Support for 10Fold clients / accounts
1. Using 10Fold software, build comprehensive weekly share of voice reports for client and competitor media coverage reports. The coverage sweeps must be timely and accurate based on what the clients and competitors do (terms and concepts will be provided and explained in the two-day training during onboarding).
2. Convert the weekly Excel lists into the proper format for 10Fold’s proprietary MetricsMatter Dashboards (training will be provided in the two-day onboarding).
3. Using key words and terms, build media lists with relevant publications in MuckRack.
4. Flag stories for the editorial account staff that they can pursue on behalf of the client based on key terms and concepts (daily as time permits).
5. Create lists of speaking opportunities and industry award opportunities based on key words and terms relevant to each client (these will often be the same terms and words used in weekly media sweeps and SOV reporting).
6. Provide SOV documents (Excel) for new business presentations based on details from the prospect and using 10Folds proprietary AI-based application.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma, some college coursework preferred.

· Computer skills associated with common PR and Marketing tools (Muck Rack, Cision, etc.).
