Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Hospice Sales Community Liaison to join our healthcare team. This role focuses on expanding our hospice services through strategic community engagement, building relationships with referral sources, and managing a territory to increase service awareness. The ideal candidate will possess strong outside sales experience, excellent management skills, and a deep understanding of business development within healthcare settings. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by connecting patients and families with compassionate hospice care while utilizing advanced CRM software and sales strategies.

Duties

• Develop and execute territory management plans to identify and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and community outreach.
• Manage existing accounts and foster long-term relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, nursing homes, and community organizations.
• Conduct product demos and presentations to educate referral sources about hospice services, emphasizing benefits and addressing concerns.
• Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for strategic planning.
• Engage in B2B sales activities, including direct sales efforts and upselling additional services where appropriate.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that increase service visibility within the community.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with referral partners while maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Provide ongoing support to referral sources, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any issues promptly.
• Participate in industry events, seminars, and local community activities to enhance brand presence and network expansion.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in outside sales, business development, or account management within healthcare or related fields.
• Strong background in B2B sales, territory management, lead generation, and direct sales strategies.
• Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms; proficiency in technology sales is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation skills combined with superior customer service abilities.
• Demonstrated success in marketing activities, product demos, upselling techniques, and analysis skills for strategic decision-making.
• Ability to work independently within a territory while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
• Exceptional communication skills with the capability to build rapport across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations related to hospice care is preferred but not required. This role is integral to expanding our hospice services through proactive community engagement and strategic sales initiatives—making a difference in the lives of patients and their families while fostering professional growth within a supportive environment.
