Electrical Business Development Leader

We are seeking an ambitious and results-oriented Electrical Business Development Leader to lead the growth and expansion of our electrical division. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strong industry relationships, overseeing electrical projects, and helping shape the future direction of our electrical services department. What You'll Do
Business Development & Revenue Growth
· Identify and secure new residential, commercial, and custom integration electrical opportunities
· Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, contractors, architects, designers, developers, and homeowners
· Generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline to support sustained growth
· Develop strategic plans to expand market share and increase revenue
· Represent the company professionally within the industry and local business community
Electrical Operations & Technical Expertise
· Oversee electrical installations, upgrades, service calls, and project execution
· Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes
· Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently and effectively
· Manage permits, inspections, and code compliance requirements
· Maintain the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
Leadership & Project Management
· Recruit, mentor, and develop electricians and apprentices as the department grows
· Prepare estimates, proposals, budgets, and project schedules
· Manage project profitability, timelines, and customer expectations
· Collaborate closely with sales, operations, project management, and installation teams
· Create a culture of accountability, professionalism, and excellence
What We're Looking For
· Proven experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work
· Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and industry best practices
· Experience estimating projects and managing project costs
· Demonstrated success in business development, sales, client acquisition, or relationship management
· Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
· Ability to identify opportunities and turn them into profitable business
· Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growth and innovation
· Electrical licensing preferred (where applicable)
