Sr. Engineer (AI and Cloud, Business Process Management Technology)
On behalf of our banking client, Procom is searching for a Sr. Engineer, AI and Cloud, Business Process Management Technology for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Southlake, Texas office, with Phoenix, AZ as a backup location.
Job Description:
Our banking client is seeking a driven Sr. Engineer to join our team, focusing on the enhancement of core applications to support scalability, reliability, and migration to cloud platforms. This initiative is crucial to transforming how the world invests, aligning with our strategic technology vision.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate technical discussions and drive solutions forward to achieve business needs
- Provide hands-on technical mentoring in AI and cloud best practices
- Interact with business, technology, and operations support partners
- Identify technical gaps/risks and establish mitigation plans
- Strive for improvements in process, application time-to-market, and quality
Mandatory Skills:
- 6+ years of software development experience on large-scale enterprise platforms
- 4+ years of experience in financial services with knowledge of Margins, Options Expiration, Futures, etc.
- Experience with Agile processes in planning, implementation, and support
- Full Stack Development experience with .NET Framework and C#
- Experience with Google Cloud Platforms and Pivotal Cloud Foundry
- Knowledge of Aerospike NoSQL, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases
- Experience with all the following: Angular, RXJS, TypeScript, PrimeNg and .NET Core
- Experience with integrating SOAP and REST services
- Experience with AI tools and frameworks and AI-Led Development Lifecycle
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology discipline
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with application integration with BPM platforms such as Appian
- Expertise with IBM MQ and Kafka messaging systems
- Experience using telemetry and metrics for operational excellence
- Experience as a technical expert, mentoring, and problem-solving
- In-depth knowledge of software engineering and architecture trends
Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.
