Important Notes:
If you are currently a licensed SLP in another state, it may take 1-3 months to get a Georgia license.
Only after
1. Receiving a Georgia License 91-3 months)
2. After accepting a job position with Sonshine we can begin the insurance credentialing process. Credentialing can take as long as 4 months to complete. It is a required process for all medical facilities. If any employer offers to employee you more quickly they are not completing the required insurance credentialing process.
As a licensed professional it is very important to plan 4 months ahead for an in state change and 6 months in advance for an out of state change. If you begin work with us sooner, it will take 90 days to get to a full schedule as we add patients as each insurance is approved.
