SummaryThe Supply Chain Manager coordinates, organizes and oversees all activities involved in the identification, acquisition, production, and distribution of the company goods. Essential Functions
- Plans, manages and coordinates all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand
- Develops appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize satisfaction at the lowest possible cost
- Assesses and manages inventory stock levels on a rolling 6 month schedule.
- Leads the Supply Chain Team in executing best practices and measuring performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Determines key supply chain KPIs
- Develops departmental processes and policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implements subsequent changes.
- Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain
- Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company
- Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with the strategic purchasing agents.
- Maintains good rapport with vendors and acquires new vendors when necessary
- Meets with Stakeholder managers to understand business priorities and translate them into procurement plans; comprehends the industry and the Marketplace
- Executes risk mitigation, business continuity, cost management, and operation strategies
- Identifies common contract risk areas
- Responsible for training of departmental staff
- Provides analytical data and other reports to management
- Responsible for a safe working environment
- Back up for Strategic Purchasing Agents
- Works closely with all departments and provides necessary information in a timely manner. Works closely with Quality, Production and Finance

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or similar. Master’s Degree preferred
