Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented self-starter to join our fast-growing Intermodal team. As an Intermodal Data Intern you will be at the forefront of Whimsy Trucking in leading the company into the new digital era. You will understand and work within all functions of our carrier process and apply your skills and knowledge via our TMS (Transportation Management System). You will be responsible for managing, reviewing, and uploading our TMS data in the system, work on various software engineering projects, and assist with document scanning as needed. This will require working in tandem with the corporate team for all departments and understanding our various data systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assist with manual scanning of important driver documents once recieved.

· Assist with building various automation tools within our operational workflows utilizing various coding / software engineering skillsets.

· Provide advice and expertise on improving operational processes through data analysis

· Jump into any operational department as needed to assist with various tasks.

Requirements and Qualifications:

· Software Engineering skills a plus

· Ability to understand processes quickly and provide insight and opinions

· Passion for problem solving and analytical thinking

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to perform under pressure

Job Types: Internship, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour
