Challenger seeks someone with experience and enjoyment working with kids to facilitate immersive NASA-like space mission simulations/science education programs at the Challenger Learning Center of Maine. Responsibilities would also include afterschool programs, public events, vacation/summer camps and birthday parties. Flexible hours, some evenings and weekends. Applicants must be comfortable speaking in front of people, and have a proficiency with technology. Teacher experience is not required, however; anyone who is mature and enthusiastic with kids is encouraged to apply. Space science background is NOT required- just a great attitude to learn.
