The Post Agency is looking for a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Web Designer/Developer Intern to join our growing team. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience designing and building websites for clients across multiple industries. You'll work directly with our team on active projects and contribute to websites that are seen by real customers and businesses.

This is not a "watch from the sidelines" internship. You'll be involved in the design, development and optimization of websites while learning how digital experiences are created in a fast-paced agency environment.

Responsibilities

• Design website layouts, landing pages and digital experiences that align with client branding and goals
• Build and update websites using various website builders and block editors
• Convert approved designs into functional web pages
• Assist with website content updates, optimization and quality assurance testing
• Collaborate with marketing, creative and account teams on client projects
• Research website trends, user experience best practices and emerging digital tools
• Help maintain website consistency, performance and usability across devices

QualificationsDesign Fundamentals

• Understanding of layout, spacing, typography, hierarchy and core design principles
• Ability to create modern and user-friendly web designs

Web Design & Development

• Experience designing web pages and building them within website platforms or block editors
• Familiarity with WordPress, Elementor, Gutenberg, Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, or similar platforms is a plus
• Coding experience is not required, but comfort working within digital systems and web platforms is essential

Professional Skills

• Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and platforms
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Self-starter who takes initiative and solves problems independently
• Creative thinker with a passion for digital design and user experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Portfolio showcasing web design projects, coursework, freelance work, or personal projects
• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, or similar design tools
• Interest in digital marketing, branding, and website strategy
