Job Summary:
Primarily responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager in executing the overall marketing strategy, focusing on customer interaction and content creation for social media (specifically video content creation).

This will involve working with our customers/target groups (engineers, technology enthusiasts, inventors, etc) This position will also work in a support capacity for customer service as needed.

Job Duties:

• Build and execute social media strategy to increase brand awareness and drive conversion.
• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content that builds meaningful connections with potential and existing customers on social media. (Specifically video content creation!)
• Create and maintain a community that is welcoming to new users while retaining experienced users and empowering them to be the ambassador of the brand.
• Build and analyze user/community metrics and report to monitor and drive user/community base growth. Test and measure user engagement campaigns and optimize campaign effect through analytical studies
• Seek to expand business opportunities with our current customer base
• Other duties and projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Digital Communications or related field *required*.
• At least two years of experience with *video content creation* and social media management, understanding social media design and account management best practices
• Passionate and active user of major social media platforms
• Fundamental interest in technical topics
• Strong desire to constantly learn and stay current on new social media trends
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Sales experience is a plus

Preference given to those with:

• Graphic design and ad creation experience
• Video production and editing experience
