Job Summary

The Technology & Training Senior Specialist will work in a hybrid role, as both a research scientist and a field consultant. In the laboratory, the Technology & Training Senior Specialist will be responsible for developing protocols for research & development projects, carrying out laboratory testing, analyzing and interpreting data, and communicating results to stakeholders. The Technology & Training Senior Specialist will also need to travel, sometimes at short notice, for several days at a time. In the field, they will be responsible for conducting laboratory assessments, planning and facilitating wastewater treatment training programs for clients, and participating in EBS regional workshops. Additionally, the Technology & Training Senior Specialist will assist the Director of Technology & Training with developing partnerships with other companies to bring new offerings to EBS products and services.

Responsibilities

• Present EBS capabilities to current and perspective clients
• Research and evaluate potential new products, services, and equipment
• Conduct laboratory assessments, microscopic examination trainings, and onsite wastewater trainings
• Facilitate EBS regional workshops, as needed

Required Skills:

• Ability to travel ~50% of the time
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Requirements:

• Research-based Master’s or Ph.D degree
• Experience conducting and presenting research projects
• At least 3-5 years of previous work experience

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
