Duties

• SSupport the design development of waterfront design and consturction projects using software such as AutoCAD - COGO/Civil , Hydrocad, SketchUp,PhotoShop, InDesign and Illustrator and other design software
• Assist in creating detailed drawings, plans, and renderings that showcase innovative design concepts
• Conduct site visits to gather data, perform land surveying tasks, and evaluate existing conditions using GIS tools
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop construction documents and estimates forall features, stormwater management, and landscaping elements
• Contribute to sustainable design initiatives by integrating eco-friendly practices into project plans
• Assist in project management activities including scheduling, tracking progress, and coordinating with contractors during construction phases
• Support land surveying efforts and overall project managment to ensure project accuracy and longevity

Requirements

• Recent graduate Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning or related fields with a strong interest in waterfront design
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D,SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop) for drawings and visualization purposes
• Familiarity with GIS platforms and spatial analysis and mapping
• Basic understanding of civil engineering principles including land surveying,stormwater management
• systems, construction estimating, and sustainable design practices
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscaping techniques suitable for waterfront environments
• Ability to work effectively on CAD drawings, drafting plans, and project documentation
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
• Enthusiasm for learning new skills related to construction processes, project management.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
