Requirement: Must be eligible for a U.S. Public Trust security clearance (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder, residing in the U.S. for the past 5 years, and meeting travel requirements).
We are seeking an experienced Software Developer with strong C#/.NET expertise to develop software for warehouse and logistics systems deployed on industrial computing platforms.
This role focuses on building applications that run on industrial PCs (IPCs) and support real-time operations such as sortation, scanning, and system coordination. You will work on systems that integrate with hardware devices and backend platforms (WMS, databases, etc.). This is not a PLC/controls role.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying systems used in live warehouse environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and .NET (Core/6+)
- Build software deployed on industrial PCs supporting warehouse/logistics operations
- Interface with hardware devices such as scanners, cameras, and printers
- Integrate with WMS, databases, and third-party systems
- Write and optimize SQL queries
- Troubleshoot and debug systems in live or test environments
- Support system testing, deployment, and on-site validation
- Work independently and collaborate with a small technical team
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of professional experience with C# / .NET
- Experience building applications for real-world operational systems (non-web-only)
- Strong understanding of Windows-based systems
- Experience with SQL (writing and debugging queries)
- Ability to work with and modify complex existing codebases
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with warehouse/logistics systems (WMS, sortation, fulfillment, material handling)
- Experience integrating with industrial devices (barcode scanners, vision systems, printers, etc.)
- Experience with real-time or event-driven systems
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, sockets, or REST APIs
- Experience supporting software in field or operational environments
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to travel occasionally to warehouse sites for testing and deployment
