What will you be doing?
A Jan-Pro Business Consultant acts as an executive-level mentor, managing a territory of
franchisees by providing training, quality control, and coaching to ensure operational success,
profitability, and customer satisfaction. Key duties include auditing, cleaning services, fostering
franchisee growth, and supporting account retention.
The support given to your ‘TEAM’ of business owners is done through the promotion of the
tools the Jan-Pro brand provides. The goal is to prosper long term CBO/cleaning client
relationships. This results in the maintenance of and, increase in, their business revenues and
helps in brand rapport. This objective is accomplished by following the Jan-Pro Model, use of
skills to promote proactive communication and use of the local resources of the Senior Business
Consultant and Regional Franchise Developer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Franchisee Support & Coaching: Actively engage with franchisees to improve
business operations, set goals, and drive profitability.
Quality Control & Training: Conducts regular on-site inspections of janitorial
operations and provides training on Jan-Pro standards to the CBOs.
Account Retention & Service: Interact directly with commercial cleaning clients along
with the CBOs to ensure customer satisfaction and handle retention.
Account Startups: Guide franchisees through the complete onboarding process for
new client accounts.
Administrative Tasks: Manage data entry, documentation, and reporting for the
assigned territory

Qualifications:
BA in Business, Communications, or equivalent work experience - Required
At least 1 year experience in customer service, sales support, or account manager role or
closely related field
Project Management experience preferred, track record of success in management of
large teams in competitive environment.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required
Current, active Driver’s License required, must have the ability to drive to regional
accounts for quality checks and onsite account walk-through
Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
Exceptional communication – Be the ultimate communicator internally and externally,
excellent written and verbal English communication skill.

for a Business Consultant! This is a dynamic position, using organization, management, and
interpersonal skills to coach and provide business ownership support to entrepreneurs to help
them develop their business in the commercial cleaning industry.

What will you be doing?
The Business Consultant’s primary objective is to build relationships within their business unit
with their respective Certified Business Owners (CBO). They will be responsible for all business
activity in their specific business unit, including but not limited to new business development,
customer service and brand promotion.
The support given to your ‘TEAM’ of business owners is done through the promotion of the
tools the Jan-Pro brand provides. The goal is to prosper long term CBO/cleaning client
relationships. This results in the maintenance of and, increase in, their business revenues and
helps in brand rapport. This objective is accomplished by following the Jan-Pro Model, use of
skills to promote proactive communication and use of the local resources of the Senior Business
Consultant and Regional Franchise Developer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Responsible for all business functions (except new account sales) in their respective business
units Assists in preparation and delivery of the Initial Franchise Certification and file new
CBO paperwork
Maintain and foster relationship with current CBO’s
Use of Jan-Pro Brand Standards and Procedures to support CBO’s
Meets with new cleaning client contacts and calls within 24 hrs of new contract to establish
positive relationship
Sets up new accounts and aid in the ‘new accounts’ process
Performs initial ‘walk-through’ of new accounts with CBO
Facilitates communication and assists with problem-solving to resolve customer complaints
Transfers customers between owners if requested and documents these requests and transfers
Responsible for facilitating tools for CBO use to help in account attrition
Brand Standard Audits, with the respective Certified Business Owner on their accounts.
Identify, price and present Special Service work opportunities for CBO’s
Ensure proper documentation for Special Service work
Informs all owners of transfers and assists in the transfer process through walk-throughs and
information exchange
Provides or assist the CBO in SWOT analysis
Assists in preparing data for Quality Review
Maintains and develops a network of Certified Business Owners and shares in the
dissemination of ‘best practices’, particularly establishment of Emergency Back-up Crews
Ultimately responsible for the efficient, successful, and professional function of specified
business unit as disseminated by Regional Franchise Developer and Business Consultant
Performs additional job-related duties as assigned
What do we need from you?
