Job Summary
To provide academic support for LSC math courses and related subjects by engaging in 1:1 tutoring, classroom support and facilitating study groups and/or workshops as needed or requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Post-secondary certificate/diploma/degree in Mathematics, and
• 1 year of teaching/tutoring experience in Mathematics at the high school level or above, or
• 4 years of work experience in Mathematics where no degree/certificate diploma/licensure is required, or
• An equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work successfully with persons from diverse backgrounds, and commitment to diversity and inclusion initiatives.
• Associate or higher degree in Mathematics
