Cre8 Direct, Inc. was established in 2014 in Dallas, TX as a wholly owned subsidiary of Cre8 Direct (Ningbo) Co., Ltd. We are a leading designer/producer of paper products, journals, stationery, dated goods, art supplies, kids crafting, pencil pouches, gift bags, flags & house textile. We support a global customer base. Our main product lines include stationery, scrapbooking supplies, office accessories, children’s story books, gift bags/boxes, storage solutions, journals, calendars, albums & cards. We develop innovative, trend right and creative products and produce them in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in either China or Vietnam to serve the unique needs of our customers. In September of 2017 Cre8 Direct (Ningbo) was listed as a public company on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

Company Goals and Objectives:

· To integrate the efforts of our teams in both Asia and the U.S. to maximize efficiencies and increase our ability to expand our sales channels to reach store chains directly and maximize corporate profits for our company, our shareholders and our valued customers.

· To design trend forward unique product focused to the specific target consumer for each of our customers.

· To develop ODM business in partnership with our existing customer base as well as to increase sales to new accounts.

· To drive profitable business growth by offering our customers the best merchandising solutions and product at the best price possible coupled with excellent communication and service levels.

Responsibilities:

· This role will be based upon experience. For the right more junior team member it is an excellent opportunity to learn/grow. For a more seasoned Designer, we will discuss compensation and Job Title. This role will report to the Manager, Product Design.

· This role will be fluid/flexible in both meeting the needs of the business as well as in ensuring that an in-depth and robust learning environment will be created for the associate.

· Partner with Manager, Product Design to learn the design and development process.

· Work with the Manager, Product Design to organize and maintain font, digital asset & template libraries.

· Support design and product development colleagues with file specifications and help both teams to ensure that file art sizing, color call outs and design specification details are accurate.

· Assist with trend research, making trend boards and creating seasonal trend palettes for all design team members to utilize.

· Collaborate with design and product development team members in both the US and China to organize swatch books and samples.

· Assist Product Development teams to adjust files as needed and help to print out and make product mock-ups or flats.

· Work with Manager, Product Design to grow and expand skills over time and work on product design projects.

· Collaborate with teams to analyze the retail market on a regular basis and recognize trends and seek out new ideas for product concepts.

· Support the Manager, Product Design to maintain our product specification process and templates to ensure consistency of specs used amongst all design team members.

· Support the development of new product concepts to help drive our business forward.

· Partner with Product Development Team Members to review and analyze the competitive retail landscape of our category and ensure we are developing concepts and programs to stay ahead of our competition while driving innovation and newness into the market.

· Help to incorporate data driven decision making at the core of all that we do to drive a win-win profitable outcome for our company and our customers.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in product design, fine arts, fashion design or equivalent job experience.

· At least 3 years of product design experience with a previous emphasis in fashion, crafts, home décor or stationery business as a plus.

· Experience with Trend Development and New Program Launches a plus.

· Knowledge of import/export, and retail sales business a plus.

· Track record of developing, strengthening and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners.

· Willingness and ability to take on increased category challenges and responsibilities.

· Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

· Highly proficient in Illustrator, Photo Shop & Microsoft Office

· Work from Irving, TX based offices with our colleagues in Ningbo, China.
