About College Connect

College Connect is a California DDS-vendored Adaptive Skills Training program operating across Southern California community college campuses. We specialize exclusively with emerging adults with developmental disabilities and learning differences — helping them navigate college, build independence, and develop real-world skills. Our interdisciplinary team includes educational psychologists, clinical psychologists, and trained facilitators united around one mission: structured, high-quality support for students who are often underserved and underestimated.

A Note on Who We Serve

Our students are adults — college-enrolled, community-present, and building toward real independence. This is not a pediatric program. If your background is primarily with children, this role will feel like a meaningful shift. We work on college campuses alongside neurotypical peers, in community settings, and with young adults who have goals, opinions, and lives they're actively building. The work requires you to meet them there.

The Role

The Campus Lead is the primary point of contact on campus — the person students, staff, and partners rely on to keep things running well. You'll manage Student Facilitators, oversee scheduling and service quality, and stay close enough to daily operations to catch issues early and address them directly.

What You'll Do

• Manage and develop Student Facilitators through weekly reviews, direct observation, and corrective feedback
• Oversee student scheduling to ensure target service frequency is met
• Monitor attendance daily — identify breakdowns early, diagnose root causes, and follow through on resolution
• Conduct weekly consumer-specific intervention reviews; audit documentation for accuracy and IPP alignment
• Prepare and review campus billing notes for accuracy
• Maintain all source documentation — current, organized, and audit-ready
• Plan and execute campus outings and seasonal programming
• Report upward with full context — not just flags, but diagnoses and plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, social work, or related field (required)
• Experience with ABA, adaptive skills, or DDS-funded programs preferred
• Prior management experience preferred
• Must be able to pass background check, TB screening, and CPR/First Aid certification (or obtain upon hire)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
