Bergquist Inc. is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Area Sales Manager (ASM) to support and grow our Minnesota and Wisconsin territory. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys building relationships, solving customer challenges, and making a direct impact on business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Revenue Growth
• Develop and execute territory growth strategies.
• Expand Bergquist’s market presence and increase revenue within the assigned territory.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities while strengthening existing customer relationships.

Consultative Sales Approach

• Utilize a needs-based sales process to understand customer challenges and operational goals.
• Recommend products, services, and solutions that provide meaningful value to propane marketers.
• Act as a trusted resource and industry partner for customers.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers across the territory.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and follow-through.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong listening, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to identify customer needs and develop effective solutions.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Experience in consultative sales preferred.
• Knowledge of the propane industry is beneficial but not required.

Travel Requirements

• Approximately 80% travel throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin.
