Overview
The Communications and Social Media Coordinator (Associate) is responsible for producing important ongoing materials for the First (Scots) congregation and its community. This person will be knowledgeable of current opportunities for communication, marketing, social media, and basic technological needs for the administrative office, church committees, and its membership. A high degree of expertise in applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress, ACS, Constant Contact, and other social media outlets is important. A desire to learn and understand the church’s business policies and practices is a must. The Communications and Social Media Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing the organization's visibility and reputation through effective communication strategies. This position is responsible for developing and implementing communication plans and creating engaging content across various platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing and editing skills, a keen understanding of public relations, and the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
