Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Automotive Service Advisor to join our team! In this role, you will serve as the vital link between customers and our service technicians, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and positive service experience. Your enthusiasm for automotive technology and customer service will drive customer satisfaction and loyalty, while your knowledge of automotive repairs and diagnostics will help accurately communicate vehicle needs.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs.
• Explain repair procedures, estimates, and recommended services clearly and confidently.
• Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services.
• Upsell additional maintenance or repair services based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
• Manage auto estimating, service writing, and invoicing to ensure accuracy and transparency.
• Handle cash transactions professionally while maintaining detailed records of all service activities.
• Stay informed about automotive diagnostics, repairs (including transmissions, oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work), and dealership promotions.

Skills

• Proven dealership experience with a solid understanding of auto service management.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with automotive diagnostics expertise.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Experience in auto estimating, sales, and upselling techniques.
• Knowledge of automotive repair specialties such as diesel engine repair, air brake systems, shocks & struts, tire service, auto body repair, and alignment.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• Familiarity with service technician processes including oil changes, transmission work, suspension repairs, and more.
