Inside Sales / Sales Development Representative (SDR)

About the Role:
We are looking for a driven and technically curious Inside Sales / Sales Development
Representative to join our growing team. As a company that designs and builds its own
networking hardware, AI infrastructure, rack-scale systems, and management and
orchestration software, you will play a critical role in bringing these products to market.
Your day-to-day will span prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities,
supporting the quoting process, and coordinating with channel partners and vendors on
orders, shipments, and deliveries. This is a hybrid sales and operations role ideal for
someone who wants to build a career in technical sales with deep exposure to next-
generation networking and AI infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling targeting network engineers, data centre managers, IT directors, and infrastructure architects.
- Research target accounts and map out the right contacts within organizations, including technical decision-makers and procurement stakeholders.
- Leverage SEO insights and digital tools to identify inbound interest signals and prioritize outreach.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads against defined criteria, building a strong and accurate pipeline for the sales team.
- Clearly articulate the value of our networking platforms, AI-ready infrastructure, rack-scale systems, and orchestration software to prospects at varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly targets for calls, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities.
Quoting, Orders & Channel Coordination
- Prepare and process customer quotes, working with internal teams to ensurepricing accuracy and timely delivery of proposals.
- Coordinate with channel partners, distributors, and vendors on purchase orders, shipment tracking, and delivery schedules.
- Serve as a key point of contact between customers and operations, ensuring orders progress smoothly from quote to delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of quotes, orders, and shipment status within the CRM and internal systems.
- Support account executives and sales leadership with deal administration, renewals, and follow-up on outstanding proposals.
- Proactively communicate order updates, lead times, and any delays to customers and internal stakeholders.
Skills and Competencies:
- Confident and persuasive communicator, comfortable engaging new contacts by phone, email, and video.
- Strong research skills with the ability to quickly identify decision-makers and map account structures.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, able to manage quoting workflows, order tracking, and multiple prospects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and the ability to use digital signals to time and prioritize outreach.
- Self-motivated and target-driven with a resilient, positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written communication for crafting compelling outreach and professional customer correspondence.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with channel partners, vendors, logistics teams, and internal engineering. Knowledge & Technical Understanding
Knowledge and Technical Understanding:
- General understanding of the networking and IT infrastructure market, including enterprise and data center environments.
- Working familiarity with networking technologies such as switching, routing, network fabrics, load balancing, and network security.
- Awareness of AI and high-performance computing infrastructure, including GPU clusters, high-speed interconnects, and the demands of AI/ML workloads on network and rack-scale design.
- Understanding of rack-scale architecture concepts, including composable infrastructure, disaggregated compute and storage, and dense deployment models.
- Familiarity with network management and orchestration platforms, including concepts such as automation, provisioning, telemetry, and lifecycle management of network and infrastructure resources.
- Ability to hold credible introductory conversations with technical buyers, network architects, and data center operations teams.
- Eagerness to develop deeper expertise through training and hands-on exposure to our hardware and software product portfolio.
Experience
- Proven experience in outbound cold calling and prospecting, ideally in a B2B technology or networking environment.
- Demonstrable ability to research accounts and identify the right stakeholders within target organizations.
- Experience using SEO tools and digital research methods to support lead generation and prospecting.
- Hands-on experience preparing quotes or proposals and supporting the order-to- delivery process.
- Familiarity with coordinating across channel partners, distributors, and vendors on fulfillment and logistics.
- Prior use of CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) for tracking activity, managing pipelines, and maintaining order records.
- Experience in a sales, inside sales, or business development role is required; networking, infrastructure, or AI industry experience is a strong advantage.

Pay: $53,056.79 - $63,896.35 per year
