Gerber Life is looking for an Agency Support Specialist to join our Agency Operations team. This phone-based role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in insurance operations, agency support, customer service, or financial services.
You’ll work directly with external agents and agency partners to answer questions, research issues, provide updates, and help keep business moving. You do not need to know everything about insurance on day one. We will help you learn our products, systems, processes, and agency support workflows.
What You’ll Do
· Answer inbound calls from agents and agency partners
· Make outbound calls when follow-up is needed
· Respond to emails and other support requests
· Research information in internal systems
· Help with policy, payment, licensing, contracting, commission, form, and application questions
· Partner with internal teams to resolve issues
· Document interactions accurately
· Support administrative tasks, reporting, testing, and special projects

Experience That May Help
Insurance experience is helpful but not required. Experience in customer service, contact center support, administrative support, banking, financial services, medical office support, retail leadership, office coordination, or insurance agency support may also be a good fit.
Minimum Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· Clear and professional phone and written communication skills
· Comfort handling a high volume of phone-based support interactions
· Ability to multitask, troubleshoot, and follow through
· Strong attention to detail
· Typing speed of 30 words per minute
· Willingness to learn insurance products, systems, and procedures
