UServeUtah is seeking an AmeriCorps Seniors Program Coordinator who will be responsible for overseeing the Senior Companion and Foster Grandparent programs in Carbon, Emery, Grand, and San Juan counties. The selected individual will be responsible for the daily management of these programs including training volunteers, placing volunteers, and ongoing support of volunteers. For the Senior Companion Program this will involve coordinating older adult clients to be visited. For the Foster Grandparent Program, this entails working with schools and other community locations for volunteers to serve children. The coordinator will be actively involved with volunteers, volunteer locations and community organizations and will communicate and coordinate with the Program Manager and other Program Coordinators in different parts of the state.
This is a temporary position, anticipated to last approximately until June 30, 2027. The position may be extended based on performance and federal funding availability.

The selected candidate for this position may be brought in as a Program Specialist I with a salary range of $20.36 - $34.98 per hour or as a Program Specialist II with a salary range of $24.60 - $36.94.
