Summary

The Engineering Director leads engineering strategy, capital projects, equipment improvements, and automation initiatives across all manufacturing facilities. This role ensures equipment, facilities, and processes support company growth, operational efficiency, product quality, and regulatory compliance. The Engineering Director works closely with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and R&D to support manufacturing performance and continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects, including equipment installations, facility upgrades, and expansion initiatives.
• Develop engineering standards and best practices across all manufacturing sites.
• Support new product launches by ensuring manufacturing readiness and equipment compatibility.
• Provide technical leadership for equipment, process improvements, and problem-solving efforts.
• Identify and implement automation and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Partner with Operations to improve productivity, efficiency, and equipment performance.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the engineering team.
• Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and engineering partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing capital projects and engineering teams.
• Knowledge of FDA, cGMP, OSHA, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Strong leadership, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to wear required PPE in manufacturing areas.
• Occasional travel between facilities may be required.

Pay: $200,000.00 per year
