We are seeking a full-time CMM Programmer/Inspector to join our quality team. This position requires experience programming CMM equipment using PC-DMIS and/or Calypso, working from a variety of data sources including model-based definitions, CAD/CAM files, drawings, and blueprints. The ideal candidate will also be able to operate CMM equipment, perform inspections using surface plate layout methods, and use standard measuring equipment to verify precision aerospace components.
Responsibilities:
· Identify products requiring CMM inspection.
· Develop and write part inspection programs for CMM equipment.
· Organize, maintain, and control CMM inspection programs.
· Troubleshoot product issues and support manufacturing as needed.
· Train inspection personnel on proper CMM operation.
· Oversee dimensional inspections performed on CMM equipment.
· Identify and recommend process improvements.
· Collaborate professionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Quality teams.
· Complete first article inspections as required by customers.
· Participate in customer and regulatory compliance audits as required by the Quality Control Manager.
