Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory quality testing on products to ensure they meet company standards and customer specifications
- Use calibrated lab equipment and other tools to verify product characteristics and attributes
- Conduct quality audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement process improvements
- Follow established quality assurance procedures and guidelines, including CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point)
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspections, test results, and other quality-related records
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality systems and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a laboratory technician or related role preferred
- Strong knowledge of quality/laboratory techniques and measurement tools such as pipettes, scales, and chromatography
- Familiarity with CGMP, HACCP, and other quality assurance standards
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, and documentation
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformities
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate quality-related issues
