Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced System Admin for a contract opportunity in Dallas, TX, supporting API middleware platforms and cloud-based infrastructure within a government and public sector environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on infrastructure professional with strong experience in AWS, MuleSoft runtime administration, Terraform, and production support.
The System Admin will help maintain secure, stable, and high-performing middleware environments while supporting deployments, upgrades, automation initiatives, and continuous platform improvements. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support API middleware platforms, infrastructure components, and related operational processes.
- Administer MuleSoft runtime environments and AWS API Gateway services to ensure reliable platform performance.
- Implement, update, and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve platform, middleware, and production issues in a timely manner.
- Execute deployments, system upgrades, configuration changes, and production support activities.
- Maintain secure and stable environments through vulnerability remediation, compliance support, and security best practices.
Compensation and Benefits
- Contract/Temporary position.
- Pay range: $60.00 to $76.00 per hour.
- Location: Dallas, TX.
